Conditioning Camps and Evaluations

2024/2025 Season Conditioning Camp Dates:

Didsbury Minor Hockey hosts a conditioning camp for divisions U9 and U11 in September, prior to the regular season.

Conditioning camps focus on skating and conditioning players for evaluations. Ice times will consist of high tempo and high flow drills to keep the skaters engaged and moving and will focus on the drills that the players will be tested on during evaluations.

U9 DIVISION

  • September 3,5,10,12,17,19 from 4:00PM to 5:00PM

U11 DIVISION

  • September 3,5,10 & 12 from 5:15PM to 6:15PM

 

 

2024/2025 Season Evaluation Dates

Following the conditioning camp, evaluations will take place depending on the amount of players registered within each division. If there are enough players to form more than one team, evaluations are then utilized to put each player on a team appropriate to their skill levels.  Evaluations are conducted by a trusted external group of qualified players and/or coaches to ensure fair and impartial assessment of a player's total hockey skills during the skating and scrimmage sessions.

U7 DIVISION

  • September 28 from 2:30PM to 3:30PM
  • September 29 from 9:30AM to 10:30AM

U9 DIVISION

  • September 24 from 4:00PM to 5:00PM
  • September 26 from 4:00PM to 5:00PM
  • September 28 from 3:45PM to 4:45PM
  • September 29 from 10:45AM to 11:45AM

U11 DIVISION

  • September 17 from 5:15PM to 6:15PM
  • September 19 from 5:15PM to 6:15PM
  • September 21 from 2:30PM to 4:00PM
  • September 22 from 9:30AM to 11:00AM

U11 GOALIE 

  • September 18 from 5:00PM to 6:00PM (small ice surface)
