Didsbury Minor Hockey hosts a conditioning camp for divisions U9 and U11 in September, prior to the regular season.

Conditioning camps focus on skating and conditioning players for evaluations. Ice times will consist of high tempo and high flow drills to keep the skaters engaged and moving and will focus on the drills that the players will be tested on during evaluations.

U9 DIVISION

• Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm
• Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm
• Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm
• Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm

 

U11 DIVISION

• Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 5:15 to 6:15 pm
• Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 5:15 to 6:15 pm
• Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 5:15 to 6:15 pm
• Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 3:45 to 4:45 pm

 

2023/2024 Season Evaluation Dates

Following the conditioning camp, evaluations will take place depending on the amount of players registered within each division. If there are enough players to form more than one team, evaluations are then utilized to put each player on a team appropriate to their skill levels.  Evaluations are conducted by a trusted external group of qualified players and/or coaches to ensure fair and impartial assessment of a player's total hockey skills during the skating and scrimmage sessions.

U7 DIVISION
